Boot Campers to Wear Pink at Boot Camp for Breast Cancer on October 24th

Boot Campers come together after one of there own is diagnosed with breast cancer.

Dallas, TX (October 15th, 2009) – The Transformation Boot Camp announced today that it will hold Boot Camp for Breast Cancer on Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Brinker International to raise funds for breast cancer screening and research.  Admission to the event is a $15 donation or more, and campers are asked to wear pink.

“When one of our own campers, Tammy, broke the news this month that she had breast cancer, I knew that we had to come together for this special cause,” said Mike Thornton, owner of the Transformation Boot Camp.  “Tammy is such a ray of light and is so willing to shine that light on others by sharing her story of strength and vulnerability at the same time.  She and all the other women and families affected by this disease deserve all of the energy that we can give them.”

The Boot Camp for Breast Cancer will be held at Brinker International on Saturday, October 24th from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.  Participants will experience a 90-minute, metabolic-boosting workout as they perform a series of fun, team-oriented boot camp drills set to a backdrop of music, energy, and a whole lot of pink.  All fitness levels are welcome to attend this non-military, completely motivational camp.  Entry is your online donation of $15 or more with all of the proceeds going to breast cancer research and your willingness to wear some article of pink clothing to show your support.
